Millie James
ATMORE – Mrs. Millie James of Atmore passed away Tuesday, Oct. 17, 2006 at her residence. Christian Memorial Funeral Home in charge of all arrangements.
Lillie Mae Bright
ATMORE – Mrs. Lillie Mae Bright, 91, passed away Saturday, Oct. 14, 2006 at her home. Bright was a native of Monroeville, where she attended school, and a resident of Atmore for many years.
She was preceded in death by her father, Albert Ikner; her mother Virginia Ikner; husband, Lee Bright; a daughter, Emma Doris Houston; a son, Bruno Marshall; three sisters and one brother.
Bright is survived by a daughter, Lois Tucker of Atmore; 14 grandchildren; 35 great- grandchildren; and 31 great-great- grandchildren.
Services will be Friday, Oct. 20 at 1p.m. at Miracle Temple Church of God in Christ in Atmore with Pastor Gwendolyn Kidd officiating. Family will receive friends Thursday, Oct. 19 from 2 – 8:30 at Turner Funeral Chapel.

Leanne Irene Jordan
SANTA ROSA BEACH, Fla.- Leanne Irene Jordan, 19, and her unborn baby boy left this world to be with her brother, T.J. Jordan, and the Lord on Oct. 14, 2006.
Leanne was a native of Century, Fla., and a resident of Santa Rosa Beach, Fla. for the past 18 years. She attended the Catholic Church, was loved by many and never met a stranger. Leanne had a smile that lit up the world and a sense of humor to match.
Survivors include: her son, Drake Jordan of Santa Rosa Beach, Fla.; her parents, Tommy and Lori Jordan of Santa Rosa Beach, Fla.; her sister, Danielle Jordan of Santa Rosa Beach, Fla.; grandparents, T.C. and Vickie Jordan of Century, Fla.; and Lorraine Morris of Philadelphia, Pa.; her fianc/, Jason Easterling of Santa Rosa Beach, Fla.; and numerous cousins, uncles and aunts.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, Oct. 19, 2006 at 2p.m. at the Petty Eastside Chapel Funeral Home with Rev. Shelton Kindig officiating.
Burial will follow at Traveler's Rest Cemetery.
Visitation will be held tonight, Oct. 18, 2006 between 6 and 8p.m. at the Petty Eastside Chapel Funeral Home.
Mildred "Dill" Langford Hall
MONROE, N.C. – Mildred "Dill" Langford Hall, a resident of Monroe, N.C. and a former resident of Oak Grove, Fla. died Oct. 12, 2006.
Mildred was born on Feb. 23, 1918 in Ala. She was raised in Bratt, Fla and spent most of her life in Oak Grove. Mildred worked for St. Regis Paper Company from 1949 to 1967. An avid quilter since 1939, she has quilted hundreds of quilts for family, friends, and acquaintances from across the country.
After moving to Monroe, she stayed close with her sister, Lois, and continued her friendships by phone with Jeannine Eubanks, Mable Dean Thames, Lucille Robbins, and many other family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Ulysses Grant Hall; her daughter-in-law, Sarah Ann Dortch Hall; sister, Grace Wiggins; brother, Hubert Henry Leonard and brother, William Curtis "W.C." Langford.
She is survived by her son, Terry Grant Hall of Monroe, N.C.; grandson, Danyl Grant Hall of Charlotte, N.C.; granddaughter, Sheila Ann O'Farrell and her husband, Ronald Lamar O'Farrell of Superior, Colo.; granddaughter, Pamela Hall Wilson and her husband, Ronnie Duane Wilson of Charlotte, N.C.; great-grandchildren, Sarah Beth O'Farrell and Zachary Lamar O'Farrell of Superior, Colo.; great-grandchildren, Ethan Langford Wilson and Greyson Rawls Wilson of Charlotte, N.C.; sister, Lois Brown of Walnut Hill, Fla.; and brother, George T. Langford of Byrnville, Fla.
Services were Monday, Oct. 16, 2006 at 10a.m. from Atmore Memorial chapel. Interment followed in Oak Grove Cemetery, Oak Grove, Fla. Family received friends, Sunday at Atmore Memorial Chapel from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Oak Grove Cemetery fund.

Mildred Pauline "Polly" Lyles
MONTGOMERY – Mrs. Mildred Pauline "Polly" Lyles, 89, a native of Dale Count and a resident of Montgomery, died Sunday, Oct. 15, 2006 at Cedar Crest Nursing Home. She was a floral designer and instructor for many years. She began her career at Capitol Floral Co, and later managed the floral department at Southern Homes and Gardens in Montgomery. Lyles taught floral design to several hundred women in the Montgomery area and made many friends during that time; some of whom still kept close contact with her. She is survived by her children, Margie Lynn Brown (Houston) McGhee of Atmore; Larry J. (Jackie) Brown of Bay Minette and Paula Juanice Brown (Kenny) Hall of Montgomery; grandchildren, Amy (Ted) Carmichael of Montgomery and Jacque Hadley and Valerie Presley, both of Atmore; 7 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; sister, Annie Jewel "Ann" Segars of Wicksburg; brother, Billy Ray (Pearl) Gulledge of Enterprise; and a number of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a son, John Daniel "Danny" Brown. Funeral services will be today Oct. 18th at 11:00 a.m. at Southern Memorial with Rev. Michael Evans officiating. Interment will follow at Bay Minette Cemetery at 3:00 p.m. The family received friends Tuesday, Oct. 17th from 6- 9 p.m. also at Southern Memorial. Pallbearers are Larry Brown, Ted Bergstorm, Kenny Hall, Shane Hadley, John Houston, Chance and Eddie Newton. Southern Memorial in charge of all arrangements.

OAKLAND, Calif. – Mr. Terry Young, 54, passed away Saturday, Oct. 14, 2006 in Oakland Calif. Young was a former resident of Atmore.
Services to be announced by Turner Funeral Chapel.
