Phillip "Butch" Fore
ATMORE – Mr. Phillip "Butch" Fore, 62, passed away Sunday, Oct. 22, 2006 in Atmore.
Mr. Fore was a native of Beatrice and a resident of Atmore for over 50 years. He attended the Sardis Baptist Church and was preceded in death by his father, Roscoe Fore and a brother, Billy Fore.
Survivors include: his mother, Reaby Fore of Atmore; a brother, Vernon Roe Fore of Atmore; and a sister, Joyce Watson of Flomaton.
Funeral services will be today, Wednesday, Oct. 25, 2006 at 10 a.m. at the Petty Eastside Chapel Funeral Home with Rev. Earle Greene officiating.
Burial will follow at New Hope Cemetery in Natchez.
Visitation was held Tuesday, Oct. 24, 2006 between 5:30 and 9p.m. at the Petty Eastside Chapel Funeral Home.
Petty Funeral Home in charge of all arrangements.
Adrian Elaine Baxley
ATMORE – Mrs. Adrian Elaine Baxley, 60, passed away Saturday, Oct. 21, 2006 at a Pensacola hospital.
Mrs. Baxley was a native of Missoula, Mont. and a resident of Atmore since 1966. She was a loving mother, grandmother and sister and attended the Oak Grove Baptist Church.
Survivors include: her husband, Mike Baxley of Atmore; her daughter, Tierney Lancaster of Atmore; her granddaughter, Tessa Lancaster of Atmore; a brother, Joey and Carolyn Liles of Pensacola, Fla; and a best friend, John Taylor of Atmore.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, Oct. 24, 2006 at 1p.m. at the Petty Eastside Chapel Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Grindle officiating.
Burial followed at Oak Grove Cemetery.
Visitation was held Monday, Oct. 23, 2006 between 6 and 8p.m. at the Petty Eastside Chapel Funeral Home.
Pallbearers were Jimmy Hardy, Scott Liles, Malcolm Giddens, Eddie Giddens, Mike Kircharr and Sean Taylor.
Petty Chapel Funeral Home in charge of all arrangements.
Beulah Gleen Weekley
PERDIDO – Mrs. Beulah Gleen Weekley, 88, of Perdido died, Monday Oct. 23, 2006 in Mobile. She was a homemaker, born in Baldwin County on March 2, 1918 to the late Frank and Leila McCoy Williams.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Weekley and a son-in- law, Joe Harville.
She was a member and Sunday School Teacher of Perdido Baptist Church for many years.
Survivors are: three sons, James Weekley and wife, Sandra of Daphne, Marvin Weekley and wife Anne of Perdido and Dr. Glenn Weekley and wife Cathy of Hendersonville, Tenn.; one daughter, Leila Harville of Perdido; one brother, Charlie Frank Williams of Hurricane; eight grandchildren, Jami Weekley, Bryan Weekley, Michael Weekley, Steve Harville, Kelly Harville, Amy Cooper, Melinda Ryan and Jarrod Weekley and 16 great-grandchildren.
Services will be today, Wednesday Oct. 25, 2006 at 2p.m. from the Perdido Baptist Church with Rev. Michael Sposbe officiating. Interment will follow in Perdido Baptist Cemetery. Active pallbearers are: Steve Harville, Kelly Harville, Bryan Weekley, Jarrod Weekley, Brady Cooper and Richard Ryan. Honorary pallbearers are: the Senior Ladies Sunday School Class.
Family received friends, Tuesday evening Oct. 24, 2006 at the Perdido Baptist Church from 6p.m. until service time on Wednesday.
