Witches and goblins converged on the Atmore SAIL Center Friday night taking control of the facility for several hours.
The ghouls were in search of a good time and that's exactly what they got.
Seniors 55 years old and over enjoyed a pre-Halloween dance and costume party hosted by the SAIL Center. The Good Times Country Band entertained the crowd throughout the night.
Atmore's Dovie Stanley placed first in the costume contest. She was decked out in a black and red, feathery witches costume.
"I'm a flirty good witch," she said.
Second place went to Grady Slay, also of Atmore, for dressing up as a string bean. Tom Norris took home third-place honors for his old man impersonation.
Ron and Loraine Weinmann "cut a rug" into the night and took home first place in the dancing contest.
