Herb Dobbins
Mr. Herb Dobbins, 77, passed away on Friday, Jan. 12, 2007 in Flomaton.
Mr. Dobbins was a native of Marietta, Ga., and a resident of Flomaton since 1976.
He was a veteran of Vietnam and the Korean Conflict, and attended Catawba Springs Baptist Church.
Survivors include: his wife, Voncile Reid Dobbins of Flomaton; two daughters, Patricia Edwards of Houston, Texas and Jean Dobbins of Atlanta; a brother, George Jackson Dobbins of Marietta, Ga., and two nephews, Allen Dobbins and Gary Dobbins both of Austell, Ga.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, Jan. 14, 2007 at 2 p.m. at the Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home with Rev. Steve Yuhasz and Rev. Dexter Truesdell officiating. Burial will be at Bryneville Cemetery.
Ola Pearl Lambeth
JAY, Fla. – Ola Pearl Lambeth went peacefully to be with the Lord on Jan. 10, 2007. She was born in Jay, Fla. on April 24, 1932.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Elvin Jack Lambeth, parents Sidney and Fannie Warrick, brothers, Dawyan and J.T. Warrick, and sister, Fannie Bell Warrick. She is survived by: her beloved children, Everett Lambeth (Paula), Wanda Haley (Spoon), Brenda Blackmon (Steven), Keith Lambeth (Patti), and Frank Lambeth; 15 grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren. Pearl is also survived by her sister, Lena Mae Warrick; brothers, Sidney "Red" Warrick and Felix Rayford Warrick; and sister-in-law, "Bob" Warrick. She was also known as "Aunt Pearl" to her large extended family of nieces and nephews who loved her very much and will miss her too.
Viewing was held Friday, Jan. 12, 2007 from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home. Memorial services were held at the funeral home on Saturday, Jan. 13, 2007 with Rev. Greg Lancaster and Rev. Andy Boutwell officiating.
Interment followed at the Lambeth-Boutwell Cemetery in Flomaton.
Pallbearers were Everett Lambeth, Jr., Steve Blankman, Robert Warrick, Frankie Warrick, Joey Warrick, and Glenn Warrick.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Joyce Goldenburg Covenant Hospice, 10075 Hillview Road, Pensacola, Fla. 32514, for the love and care given to Mrs. Lambeth.
