Letter to the Editor
Dear Citizens and Chamber of Commerce,
We would like to thank you for honoring us as Atmore's Citizens of the Year at the Chamber of Commerce Banquet.
It was such a surprise to both of us. We were humbled by the selection, because we know there are many people in Atmore that are deserving of this award.
In the 25 years that we have lived in Atmore, God has blessed us with both the time and resources to be able to help in many areas of community service. We have learned through this work the heart of many who live in our city. There are truly some kind and loving people in Atmore, Alabama, and many who give back to Atmore everyday. It takes all of us working together to make Atmore a better place for everyone.
Again this was a very humbling time for us and we thank each of you for the honor, and for the kind and encouraging words we have received.
May God bless each of you and may He continue to bless Atmore.
