As we all know, the City of Atmore will be celebrating it's 100th birthday May 23.
There are going to be many fun events taking place around that date, including the Atmore Centennial Celebration on May 19.
The Atmore Area Chamber of Commerce, along with City of Atmore officials have been working diligently to bring together a memorable event for Atmore citizens and guests for Atmore's Centennial.
The Centennial event will consist of a hayride, which will show where businesses used to be located in Atmore, games for children and adults, a costume contest, fireworks and musical entertainment, along with light refreshments during the afternoon and supper that evening.
The Chamber of Commerce and city officials have been working so hard to make the Centennial event special.
The citizens of Atmore should show the individuals who have put in so much time and effort into the occasion thanks by showing up and participating in the events and enjoying the entertainment.
After all, they are throwing this huge birthday bash just for us.
