As of this afternoon, Atmore residents will no longer have to drive out of town for high-quality beauty products, they can take a much shorter trip right down the road to Peebles.
Peebles' new Estee Lauder and Clinique counters will be completely set up and ready for use this afternoon.
According to Kathy Vork, regional marketing director of Estee Lauder and Clinique, Peebles will be carrying all of the products that both brands have to offer.
"We have full lines of both Clinique and Estee Lauder," Vork said. "That includes, makeup, treatment, fragrances and Sun."
Vork is enthused about Peebles getting both the brands of products and knows it will save Atmore area residents some gas money.
"We're very excited to have the brands represented in Atmore to service the people in the area so they don't have to drive to Pensacola or Mobile," she said.
Jennifer Hicks, account executive of both brands, agreed with Vork's sentiment.
"I think it's very exciting," she said. "I know the customers will enjoy it, and it will save them driving time."
Atmore Peebles store manager Mark Booth is thrilled about the product's being sold at his branch.
"We're excited about having Estee Lauder and Clinique," he said. "We are the only store in the old B.C. Moore's that have converted to Peebles that have both brands. Out of 80 stores, we were the one chosen for this."
According to Vork, there will be a full-time sales associate working both the Clinique and Estee Lauder counters.
Vork also said there is something coming up soon for area Clinique-lovers to anticipate.
"We are going to have our gift with purchase for Clinique at the end of July," she said. "Everybody can look forward to that."
