Mother's Day is approaching quickly, meaning it's time to show our mommas some love.
There are many things that our mothers may want or need for this special holiday, such as flowers, candles, jewelry or even candy.
Atmore has anything you may want to get your mom for Mother's Day at any one of the many shops in town.
Here are some suggestions and store options for Atmore citizens to consider when looking for Mother's Day gifts.
Country Charms Floral &Gifts has an abundance of merchandise including, Alabama and Auburn paraphernalia for mothers who are avid sports fans, Yankee Candles, along with other great-scented candles and candle holders, miniature decorative crosses and much more.
Another store with great ideas for gift-giving is Shannon's Florist. If you would like to go the traditional flower route, Shannon's Florist is a perfect spot to go look for a special and beautiful bouquet for your mom.
If your mother likes jewelry, there is a fine jewelry store in downtown Atmore, Earle's Jewelers, where you can go and find a nice diamond necklace or bracelet for mom.
If your mother is into makeup and perfume scents, Peebles just received new Clinique and Estee Lauder counters installed in their store. Clinique has great fragrances including, Happy and Happy To Be. They also have makeup that includes lipstick, eye makeup and simple brush collections.
Estee Lauder has an extensive amount of skin care products that your mother may be interested in trying. Estee Lauder also has an abundance of fragrances to choose from and really, how can you go wrong with a great-smelling perfume for Mother's Day?
If you want to shop at Peebles but are not certain what kind of makeup or fragrances your mother may enjoy, Peebles has a huge variety of clothing items to choose from and also home decorative items.
If you aren't sure exactly what to get your mother. If you do not know her style in clothing or makeup or what she likes to decorate with, there is always the option to take her out to dinner or buy her a gift certificate to one of the restaurants in town. The Whistle Stop Grill is something a lot of citizens may want to enjoy since it is new and David's is also a good choice for a gift certificate and is actually one of my personal favorites.
All of these are simply ideas for Mother's Day gifts and there are simply too many fine stores in Atmore and the surrounding areas to mention every single one of them in one single column, but it is important to remember that anything that we may want to buy can be found in this town.
