Huddle House scrambles Greenlawn

Huddle House rode a four-run second inning against Greenlawn Pharmacy May 22 to a 6-5 victory in Atmore Babe Ruth 13-15 action.
Kendrick Staples, Chris White, Nico Williams and Demetrious Henderson each scored one run in the second inning. Gavin Salter and Cole Boatright also added one run each for Huddle House.
Nicholas Flowers scored two runs to lead Greenlawn Pharmacy. Christian Swartzendruber, Brian Rolin and Josh Hudson each added one run scored.
Poarch 8 – Greenlawn 4
Poarch jumped out to a 5-1 lead in the first two innings May 22 against Greenlawn Pharmacy, en route to an 8-4 win.
Devante Brown led Poarch with three runs scored, Marshall Rolin and Brett Wilkins added two runs scored each and Jacob Rackard crossed the plate once.
Haden McGill scored twice for Greenlawn and Nicholas Flowers and Robert Starks added one run scored each.
Uriah 7 – Poarch 4
The Uriah 13-15 year olds team took down Poarch on opening day May 19 in Atmore, 7-4. Riley Workman scored in the fifth inning and Marshall Rolin, Jacob Rackard and Ty Randolph scored in the seventh inning, but it was too little too late for Poarch as Uriah had scored five runs in the top of the fifth inning.
Evergreen 5 – Greenlawn 4
Evergreen's 13-15 year olds defeated Greenlawn Pharmacy 5-4 on opening day May 19. Nicholas Flowers scored two runs for Greenlawn and Haden McGill and Tyler Moser each added one run scored.
Huddle House 7 – Evergreen 6
Huddle House picked up the only win for Atmore in a tight 7-6 victory over Evergreen's 13-15 year olds.
Gavin Salter and Tywan Dixon each scored two runs for Huddle House and Nicholas Linam, Kendrick Staples and Tanner Kirk added one run scored apiece.
