Unity in the Community Day, hosted by the Concerned Citizens of Atmore, was held Saturday at Houston Avery Park on Martin Luther King Drive in Atmore.
Sandra Gray, a coordinator for Unity Day, said that the day went well, but she had hoped for a larger crowd.
The crowd was enthralled with the mechanical bull at the event. They also appreciated the door prizes given out.
For the children, there were two inflatable bounce houses set up. Also, there was a vendor from Perry County selling balloons in the shape of animals and cartoon characters.
The American Red Cross also had a tent set up. The organization was providing general information on disaster preparedness.
The Unity in the Community Day event hosted both a fashion show and beautiful baby show.
Gray was appreciative of the individuals and organizations that helped with the event.
