Sarah Watkins recruited four freshmen to play for the Escambia County Blue Devils volleyball team on Tuesday. Terri Wallace, Crystal Kelley, Chelsey Gaffney and Natoria Ford are the four freshmen.
The senior leadership in 2007 will come from Erin Taylor, Titieanna Jennings and Anushka Banks. Raven Culliver, Megan Hartley and Bray Brown are the juniors and Josulyn Frye is the lone sophomore.
Watkins said she is looking forward to working with the squad this year.
"The tryouts went really well and I was very pleased with what I saw," Watkins said. "It seems like we are going to have a good time this year."
Watkins said this year should be an interesting one.
"We have some great athletes here," she said. "And I look forward to working with them all year long. It should be a blast because they are great girls."
The Lady Blue Devils open the season with a match in Thomasville Aug. 23.
