Food, drinks, live entertainment and electronic bingo are a few things Atmore residents can enjoy at the Creek Entertainment Center on Hwy. 21.
The grand opening for the new buffet and stage area was Friday night and those in attendance enjoyed Compozitionz stationed in Jackson, Miss. as the musical entertainment, a champagne toast at the end of the evening and food in the new The Taste Buffet.
CEO of PCI Gaming Jay Dorris was at the event and gave a speech for those in the crowd.
"We're very pleased with our new Creek Entertainment Center buffet," Dorris said. "A special thanks to the people who helped pull this together and thank you, our customers. We don't want you to need Biloxi (Miss.), we want to be a one-stop shop for you."
Poarch Band of Creek Indians Tribal Chairman Buford L. Rolin said that the new buffet and stage area at the Creek Entertainment Center is the first of many new things in store for Poarch.
"This is just another step for us and for things to come," Rolin said. "This is what our customers have been waiting on."
