ECHS students offer peers help in courses
Escambia County High School students who have not passed the graduation exam will take the test again in December.
Those students have the opportunity for tutoring at the high school Monday through Thursday, both during and after school.
Students can receive assistance in science, math, social studies, English and reading.
Student tutors are working the program and students who need assistance will receive individualized assistance. The priority of the program is to help those who need to pass the graduation exam, although students who are having difficulties in their courses may also be tutored. Several teachers on staff at ECHS are familiar with the requirements of what the students need to pass the graduation exam and are helping with the program.
For more information, call the school at 368-9181.
