Tonya Hudson will go the extra mile to assist the elderly through her business, God's Creativity Sitting Services located at 72 Carver Avenue.
Hudson has recently upped her level of care with many new supplies that she has bought or had donated to the business.
"I have walkers, bedside commodes, shower chairs, diapers in all sizes, bedpans, wheelchairs, walking sticks and hospital beds," Hudson said. "I also have baby milk that has been donated miscellaneously that I will donate away."
Not only will Hudson sell and donate the many products, she will rent them as well. Hudson said there are many things she will do for the elderly in order to meet their needs. Hudson will do in-home care where she will assist with baths, meals, picking up mail, oral care, laundry and linen washing, grocery shopping, relief for family, medication reminders, errand services and much more.
Hudson receives help from her mother, Pinkey Frye, with the housework for the patients. Hudson is a certified nursing assistant and takes care of medical tasks.
Not only will Hudson take care of the patient physically but she also will provide conversation and companionship for them.
"We would like to help patients that may be going through a difficult time in their lives," A God's Creativity Sitting Services flyer prepared by Hudson states. "God's Creativity would like to make these times a little bit easier with the help of our services. We will work very hard at leaving a good impression on our patient's face and their families."
Hudson will provide services for not only the elderly, but the sick and disabled also, according to a God's Creativity Sitting Services pamphlet. Hudson would like to help these individuals with their daily life activities. The services provided are a mission from God, according to the pamphlet.
"God's Creativity services are on this mission from God to do His works," the pamphlet states. "With respect, dignity, kindness and understanding, this mission on what seems to be a battlefield can be won and all things will be possible."
Hudson said anyone who needs assistance can call her and she will go from there.
"They can call me if they need any of the new products or if they need anything else," she said.
When a patient calls upon Hudson she will go to their home and assist in any way she can.
Hudson is appreciative to all who have assisted her get God's Creativity up and running.
"I would like to thank all who have helped made this possible with God being the first and my parents for encouragement," she said.
Hudson thanked all those who have given her donations and any other assistance.
