A burning trash pile nearly cost a Wawbeek woman her home Friday afternoon.
Just before 2:30 p.m., firefighters with Wawbeek Volunteer Fire Department were called to a house fire with possible entrapment, according to fire personnel on the scene.
Fortunately, no one was injured in the fire, which was put out before consuming the mobile home. The home received minimal damage.
The fire is still under investigation, but a burning trash pile nearby is believed to have started the fire.
