Protect your home this winter season
Temperatures continue to fall in south Alabama. Something that most Atmore residents are not used to.
Not only do you as a citizen of Atmore need to take proper precautions in protecting your family members, especially the elderly, pets and plants, but you need to protect your home as well.
Water pipes are especially vulnerable to damage during cold weather. Water pipes can freeze and burst. Pipes that are most vulnerable are located in attics, crawl spaces and outside walls. There are several simple precautions homeowners can take to reduce the chances of these pipes freezing.
Stay warm this winter and keep those vital organs of your home protected. If you do not have the proper supplies, visit a local hardware store and stock up. If you don't, you may be left out in the cold.
