Longtime business owner Leo Luker Sr. passed away just before 3 p.m. Monday afternoon at Spring Hill Memorial Hospital in Mobile following a long battle with leukemia. He was 83 years old.
Luker was owner of Luker &Sons, a hauling and excavation company, for more than five centuries in Atmore.
Funeral services, which will be held from Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home, have not been finalized.
