Monday accident kills three

A Monday afternoon accident on Hwy. 97 south of Tungoil Road claimed the life of a Molino, Fla. man and his 2-year-old child and a 70-year-old woman from Cantonment, Fla.
Richard D. Marlow, 40, and his toddler son, Drew, were killed while traveling northbound in a pick-up truck, which was struck by a southbound truck driven by Joyce S. McGahan. The accident, which occurred just before 3 p.m., was still under investigation by the Florida Highway Patrol at 5 p.m.
According to Florida Highway Patrol, McGahan drifted into oncoming northbound traffic. Marlow attempted to avoid the collision, but could not. McGahan's vehicle struck Marlow's in the driver's side. Marlow and his son died at the scene.
Life Flight transported McGahan to Sacred Heart Hospital where she later died.
