The FAB 4 took home the Second Annual Scalpball Volleyball Tournament title at Northview High School Feb. 23.
NHS varsity head volleyball coach Betty Heaton said the day was a success.
"We appreciate all the people that came out to the 4 vs. 4 Northview volleyball fundraiser Feb. 23 at Northview High School," Heaton said. "Our first place winner was the FAB 4 team and our runner-up was the Spikers Team 1. We want to thank all teams for participating in our event and hope that we see everyone out here again next year."
Heaton also said she realizes that without sponsorship events like the tournament would be a lot more difficult to pull off.
"We would also like to give a special thanks to our sponsors, First National Bank &Trust and United Bank," she said. "Without their help our tournament would not have been the success it was."
The tournament has only been finished for a few days, but Heaton is already preparing for next year.
"Next year, we hope to have more student teams to make their own bracket," Heaton said. "So start putting your team together now so you will be ready for next year. Thanks again to everyone who helped make our second annual fundraiser a success."
All proceeds from the tournament went to help the NHS varsity volleyball team.
