An 18-wheeler hauling pea gravel overturned early Thursday morning in the parking lot of the Citgo gas station on south Main Street.
According to officials on the scene, the load of pea gravel apparently shifted in the trailer the big rig was pulling causing it to topple over on its side around 6:10 a.m. Medics with Kelley's Ambulance Service treated and released the driver of the truck at the scene for minor injuries.
No damage was reported to the Citgo station, but the truck did come to rest near a series of gas pumps and nearly knocked down a power pole.
