Time to make McKinley county commissioner
Dear Editor:
So many times today we hear about what's wrong with politics and the news is always filled with why government doesn't work. I'm proud to say some good news has finally arrived in politics with the announcement that Kevin McKinley is running Republican for District 4 in the Escambia County Commission race.
I have known Kevin for many years and I was a rural resident of Southwest Alabama for decades before moving to Mobile. I can attest to Kevin's strong work ethic, his desire to always do the right thing and his passionate devotion to the area where he lives. He is a committed champion of the underdog and will work long hours to protect the values of the area and to bring new jobs and a responsible, accountable government to Escambia County Alabama.
I hope all of you will join with me in voting Republican on June 3. The time has come to not only read history, but to make history by making Kevin McKinley the first Republican county commissioner in Escambia County history.
