Eagles edge Flames, 10-9

Jackson Bonner’s home run sparked the Scramblers to 16-15 win over the Falcons Thursday in Atmore T-ball League action.
Bonner paced the offense for the Scramblers (4-1) with three hits, including a homer and three runs. Jeff Edward Bell and Savannah Tingle also finished with three hits and three runs scored.
Chase Bell and Katie Beth Bell chipped in with three hits and scored two runs each and Kameron Bowen added three hits and one run.
Tray Bradley and Nigeria Bradley led the Falcons (1-3-1) with three hits and three runs each. Devin Wooten added three hits and scored two runs. Jabe Dawe, Tucker Spence, Jace Weber also finished with three hits each.
Eagles 10
Blue Flames 9
The Eagles (3-1) handed the Blue Flames (3-1) their first loss of the season after edging them 10-9 Thursday evening.
Cameron Long scored the winning run for the Eagles on a base hit by Kuron Frye, who led the team at the plate with a double, two singles and three RBI. The Eagles scored seven runs in the bottom of the second to take the lead following a scoreless top half of the inning by the Blue Flames. The Flames scored four runs in the third to tie the game. Frye’s hit sealed the deal for the Eagles.
LaDainian Dailey and Craig Brown Jr. each finished with a double, single and two RBI. Jared Gibbs added two singles and two RBI. Cameron Long added two hits and scored two runs and Ja’Bryce Hooks chipped in with one RBI.
Chance James led the Blue Flames with two doubles and two runs. Evan Tatum, James Lewis and Louie Turner each had a double and Tatum added two runs scored.
Blue Flames 14
Scramblers 11
A last inning rally by the Scramblers wasn’t enough to take down the Blue Flames as they suffered a 14-11 loss April 7.
Evan Tatum, Tyler Rolin, James Lewis and Randall Bonds paced the Flames’ offense with four hits apiece. Tatum, Rolin and Lewis scored two runs each. Chance James and Savannah Steadham each added three hits and scored two runs.
Edward Williams led the Scramblers with three hits and three runs scored. Chase Bell finished with three hits and crossed the plate twice, while Kameron Bowen added a double, single and one run scored. Katie Beth Bell and Jackson Bonner each added two hits.
Falcons 18
Shockers 14
Tray Bradley, Jabe Dawe and Devin Wooten each had three hits to lead the Alto Products Falcons to an 18-14 win over the Shockers April 7.
Bradley and Dawe scored three runs each in the win, while Bradley scored twice. Nigeria Bradley, Tucker Spence, Reagan Chance and Mitchell Faulk chipped in with two hits each.
Six additional players, including Jace Weber, Harley Walker, Tatyana Kirk, Daylin Wallace, Garrett Chance and Jayla Barron all had one hit in the giving each player on the Falcons’ roster at least one hit in the game.
Three players finished the game with three hits to lead the Shockers (1-2-1) including Jeffery Wilson, Jaylen Black and DiJon Crenshaw. Deonta Stots, Aldric Johnson, Christian Cox, Kenneth Craft and Austin Walker each added two hits and scored two runs.

Ja’Bryce Hooks legged out a double, single and knocked in three runs to lead the Eagles to an 11-9 win over the Shockers on April 4.
Kuron Frye and Jared Gibbs finished the game with a double and a single. Gibbs also had two RBI and scored two runs. Brandon Gulsby chipped in with a hit and two RBI.
Jaylen Black, Jeffery Wilson and Christian Cox led the Shockers scoring two runs each.

James Gang 18
The James Gang (0-4) squeaked past the Scrambles April 4 with a 19-18 victory.
Kameron Bowen led the Scramblers’ offensive attack with a double, single and two runs scored. Chase Bell added a double.
Jackson Bonner, Katie Beth Bell and Jeff Edward Bell also had solid performances at the plate each finishing with three hits and scoring three runs.
Dylan Purvis led the James Gang with five RBI and one run scored. Caleb Gregson chipped in with four RBI and four runs scored. Jack Edwards chipped in with three RBI and Sam Smith scored four runs.

The Eagles soared past the Flacons 14-6 on April 3 in Atmore T-ball action.
Kuron Frye, LaDainian Dailey, Jared Gibbs, Sara Rolin, Ja’Bryce Hooks and Brandon Gulsby led the Eagles to victory each finishing the game with two hits and two runs scored. Cameron Long and Jacob Thomas both finished the game with two hits.
Tray Bradley, Mitchell Faulk, Jabe Dawe, Tatyana Kirk and Tucker Spence led the Falcons with one hit and one run scored apiece.
Scramblers 26
James Gang 9
The Scramblers made quick work of the James Gang April 3 with a lofty 26-9 win.
Jackson Bonner, Kameron Bowen, Bubba McGowan and Jeff Edward Bell led the Scramblers’ offense each connecting for four hits and scoring four runs. Chase Bell and Drew Shelly also finished with four hits apiece. Chase Bell scored three runs and Shelly crossed the plate twice.
Edward Williams and Ann-Margaret Boothe chipped in with three hits each for the Scramblers.
Bryant Quimby led the James Gang with three RBI and two runs scored. Azyiah Sanders also drove in three runs and scored once.
