Tigers remain undefeated

The Atmore Rotary Club Tigers remained undefeated on the season with a 9-1 win over the Atmore Lions Club Cardinals on May 23.
Coby Smith, Matthew Quimby, Devante Stephens, Orenthal Magee and Jimmy Overstreak each finished the night with one hit. Smith and Magee led the way with one double each. Smith scored three runs and Magee scored once.
Quimby, Stephens and Overstreak each had singles. Overstreak also scored two runs.
Caleb Schlegel scored the Cards’ lone run following a walk.
Warriors 5
Flomaton 2
The United Bank Warriors sent the Canes packing back to Flomaton with a 5-2 victory on May 23.
Dyquan Lee led the Warriors with a home run and one run scored. Aaron McDonald finished the night with a double and one run scored and Brett Helton added a single and one run scored.
PCI Red 17
Athletics 3
PCI Red, sponsored by Audio Plus, captured a commanding 17-3 win over the First National Bank &Trust Athletics on May 22.
Tristan Montgomery nailed a home run, hit a double and scored two runs to lead PCI Red. Casey Jackson also chipped in with a double and two runs and Trey McGhee finished with a single and scored two runs.
Chris Coburn led the A’s with a single and scored one run.
Tigers 8
PCI Gold 0
Tristan McAnally tossed a no-hitter and struck out nine batters to lead the Atmore Rotary Club Tigers to an 8-0 win over PCI Gold, sponsored by Huskey Printing.
Coby Smith hit a double, single and scored two runs to lead the Tigers’ offense. McAnally also had a single at the plate and scored one run and Scott Brantley had a single and scored once.
Canes 7
Rangers 0
For the second time in a week, the Flomaton Canes shut down their opponent with a 7-0 win over the VFW Rangers on May 19.
Trey Weekes and Josh Fields led the way for Flomaton with each hitting a single and scoring one run.
Arri Torres led the Rangers with a single.
PCI Red 8
PCI Gold 7
Trey McGhee finished with two singles and scored two runs to lead PCI Red, sponsored by Audio Plus, to a narrow 8-7 victory over PCI Gold, sponsored by Huskey Printing, on May 19.
Brice McGhee slapped a double in the win.
D.J. Carter led PCI Gold with a double and one run scored.
Tigers 10
Rangers 1
Tristan McAnally went 2-for-3 with two singles and scored one run to lead the Atmore Rotary Club Tigers to a commanding 10-1 win over the Atmore VFW Rangers on May 17.
Tanner Smith chipped in with a single for the Tigers. Coby Smith scored three runs, while Jacob Esser and Orenthal Magee scored two runs each.
Bo Bishop finished the day with a single and scored the Rangers’ lone run to lead his team.
Canes 11
Athletics 0
The Flomaton Canes made another trip to Tom Byrne Park worthwhile shutting out the First National Bank &Trust Athletics 11-0 on May 17.
The Canes’ batters showed their discipline at the plate drawing 13 walks attributing to nine runs. Bryant Lane and Dalton Simmons led the team with a single and one run scored.
Malik McMillian led the A’s with a double.
Warriors 6
PCI Red 4
The United Bank Warriors cashed in on numerous errors to claim a 6-4 win over PCI Red, sponsored by Audio Plus, on May 17.
Brett Helton led the way for the Warriors with a double, while Brodie Amos added a single and scored one run. Aaron McDonald crossed home plate twice.
Brice McGhee led PCI Red with a single. Casey Jackson scored two runs.
PCI Gold 11
Cardinals 4
PCI Gold, sponsored by Huskey Printing, scored all 11 of its runs on walks, errors and base running to down the Atmore Lions Club Cardinals 11-4 on May 17.
Drake McGhee led PCI Gold with a single. Bo Ramer and Chelsey Ramer each scored three runs.
Outfielder Danny Crenshaw led the Cards with a triple. Shortstop Devonte Dailey chipped in with a double. Alex Rice, Perry Metzler, Trevares Grooms and Landon Parker each scored one run.

Athletics 1
The Atmore Rotary Club Tigers continued their winning ways with an 11-1 victory over the First National Bank &Trust Athletics on May 16
Tristan McAnally led the Tigers’ offense with a triple, double and three runs scored. Scott Brantley also had a two-hit performance with two singles and one run scored. Tim Finklea added a double and one run scored.
Garrett Kirk and Will Cooper led the A’s with one single each. Kirk scored the team’s only run.
Warriors 13
Canes 3
Nate Smith and Malcolm Black combined for four hits and three runs to lead the United Bank Warriors to a 10-run win over the Flomaton Canes, 13-3, on May 15.
Smith finished the night with two singles and one run scored and Black added two singles and two runs scored.
Brodie Amos chipped in with a double and two runs scored and Brett Helton added a single and scored three runs.
Jon Jon Griffis led the Canes with a single and a run scored.
