Salter leads Cards to 8-6 win

Maleek Salter led the Atmore Vision Center Cardinals to an 8-6 win over the Swift Supply Lions on June 5. Salter impressed with a 3-for-3 outing where he scored three runs for the Cardinals.
Gayton Thames added two hits and two runs for the Cardinals. Evan Tatum, Brandon Cummings and Brad Quimby scored the other Cardinals runs.
Eric Williams notched two hits and two runs in the contest leading the Lions in both categories.
Other Lions to score included Christian Thorpe, Thomas Boothe, David Dobson and Tyler Wilson.
Lions 10
Braves 0
Ethan Patacsil led the offensive surge for the Swift Supply Lions in a 10-0 victory over the Chuck Stevens Chevrolet Braves on June 3. Patacsil went 3-for-3 with a triple and scored three runs.
Chris Hollinger backed up Patacsil getting a home run and single while crossing home plate twice. The other Lions to score were Eric Williams with two runs followed by Christian Thorpe, Thomas Boothe and Jamaya Frye with one run apiece.
Noah Brooks did the most damage to the Lions getting two hits in two at bats.
White Sox 5
Cardinals 4
The Alto Products White Sox squeaked past the Atmore Vision Center Cardinals 5-4 on June 3.
Leading the way for the White Sox, Frederick Flavors hammered two hits including a triple and scored two runs in the win. Ryan Johnson delivered well at the plate going 3-for-3, but was unable to cross home.
The other runners to score for the White Sox included Devon Robinson, Justin Johnson and Rashawn Flavors.
Brandon Cummings led the offensive effort for the Cardinals hitting 1-for-3 knocking a pitch out of the ballpark to help the Cardinals score three runs in the first inning.
Maleek Salter rounded out the scoring for the Cardinals.
