Day Gallery owner Vikki Day wants to share something special with the City of Atmore, which is one of the reasons she has decided to move her shop from Ridgeley Street to Main Street.
The transition from Day Gallery to Day Gallery on Main will be complete by July 1, Day said.
Day Gallery on Main will not just focus on visual art, Day said. The facility will sell soaps, perfumes, candies along with antiques, vintage linens and vintage jewelry.
Day said each Monday, Wednesday and Friday Day Gallery on Main, along with Pintoli’s will serve strawberry iced tea for those who would like to sit and socialize in the building.
Several artists have set up shop in Day Gallery on Main as vendors, Day said.
There will also be many classes taught at the Day Gallery on Main.
The Day Gallery on Main will also feature three books a month and will host book signings.
Day Gallery on Main will open July 1 at 120 South Main St. in Atmore.
