Yankees burnt by Utilities Board

Atmore Utilities Board defeated the Brewton Yankees 5-3 in Advanced Babe Ruth baseball action on June 14.
Patrick McPherson started the scoring for Atmore in the first inning after hitting a double and being knocked in by Cody Vickrey.
Keegan Lambeth followed up in the second inning notching a double and making it around the base path after a single by Jacob Rackard. Atmore took the lead 2-1.
In the fifth inning Nico Johnson crossed home plate for Atmore after a single by Eric Coley to tie Brewton at three runs apiece.
In the last inning Jacob Farish and Eric Coley both rounded the base path and scored to lead Atmore to victory after singles by Lambeth and Shay Gipson.

Eric Coley and Justin Rolin led the Atmore Utilities Board. with two runs each in an 8-0 rout of the Brewton Red Sox on June 14.
Four of Atmore’s eight runs were scored in the first inning of the shutout.
Patrick McPherson hit 2-for-3 with a run scored and one RBI.
Jacob Farish showed his talents at the plate going 2-for-2 with two RBIs.
Trent Freeman, Jacob Rackard and Keegan Lambeth scored the other runs for Atmore in the contest.
