Give, give, give to Atmore’s American Red Cross chapter
With Atmore’s American Red Cross “Heroes” campaign coming to an end, it’s important that Atmore area residents remember to give, give, give to the organization that is always willing to help.
The “Heroes” campaign is a fundraiser that helps raise money in case a disaster occurs. The “Heroes” work together to help raise funds for the American Red Cross.
Atmore residents should remember what organization is always available when disaster strikes, the American Red Cross.
Who helps supply blood for those who need help? The American Red Cross.
It seems the organization is always doing something to help us and it is now time for us to kick it in gear to help it.
The “Heroes” campaign has one final fundraising event. There will be a snow cone booth set up at Unity in the Community day this weekend.
So, Atmore residents, get out there to Houston Avery Park and cool off with a snow cone. Your money will help you refresh from the heat, but could also help save lives.
If you don’t feel like going out to Unity Day, go grocery shopping instead. The American Red Cross has canisters set up at area grocery stores for people to drop their dollar bills or spare change in. Every penny counts when it comes to saving a life.
We at the Advance, appreciate all who have assisted with the “Heroes” campaign. Your hard work and dedication is valued in this community.
As for everyone else, do your part by helping out the organization that helps when we all need it.
The goal of the “Heroes” campaign was to raise $10,000 in a month and with the help of area residents, that goal can be easily attained.
