Shell supports Guard and Reserve

At Monday’s City Council meeting Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR) ombudsman Charlotte Boyle presented Atmore mayor Howard Shell with a flag because of Shell’s and the city’s support for the Guard and Reserve.
ESGR is a liaison between employers and the Guard. Those who support the Guard sign a statement of support, which states:

The first public hearing, for ordinance 05-2008, was held because the planning board wishes to rezone the corner of Cloverdale Road and Medical Park Drive from R1 to B1 in order for Buy-Rite Drugs to relocate to this location. The second public hearing was the planning board wants authority to permit mini-warehouses in B2 areas. Both hearings were the first reading and must undergo second readings.
