Pastor Bernard Bishop and Deliverance Ministries of Jesus Christ, Inc. held Atmore’s second annual “Stomp the Yard” Saturday and co-coordinator Felicia Bishop said it was a great success.
Bishop said the younger children at the event especially enjoyed the waterslide and the Grace Fellowship Church puppet show.
The event also featured an inmate from Fountain Correctional Facility’s work release program.
There was also an AIDS and HIV awareness speaker on hand to educate those in attendance about the diseases.
McCullough Christian Center’s “causeaneffect” youth group also performed a drama at “Stomp the Yard.”
With all of the great entertainment and activities at the event, Bishop said there was one very special moment.
Bishop said she would like to thank everyone who helped with the event Saturday.
Bishop said plans for next year’s “Stomp the Yard” are already in action.
