Atmore Pee Wee football registration begins Saturday at 10 a.m. and ending at noon at Atmore City Hall auditorium.
This marks the 40th consecutive year that Atmore Pee Wee football will be played, said commissioner Murray Johnson.
Johnson said that there are six games total for each of the four teams in the Escambia-Conecuh (ESCON) Football Association.
He added that a couple teams have been moved around with one leaving the league and another being added.
There will be three age divisions divided up into a 6-8-year-old team, a 9-10-year-old team and an 11-12-year-old team.
The coaches for the 6-8-year-old team include D.D. Poole, Carl Martin and Eddie Kyles, but others will be involved during the season.
Marlon Lee, Erwin Dailey, Frank Taylor and Scott Walden are the coaches for Atmore’s 9-10-year-old peewee football team.
Atmore’s 11-12-year-old team is being coached by MacArthur Black, Scottie Taylor, Willie Taylor and Jerome Webster.
Johnson said he expects approximately 75 players to join teams the teams by the end of registration.
He added that the first game is scheduled for Sept. 6 with a jamboree to be held a week prior to opening day.
The last day to register is Aug. 16 and the fee at the sign up is $40.
Johnson added that players need to be registered as soon as possible to make sure season preparations can be made.
