Dubose lives a clean life

(This week The Atmore Advance spotlights Frances Morgan Dubose who has lived in the Atmore area for more than 30 years.)
Q: When and where were you born?
A: I was born April 10, 1929 on the edge of Baldwin County.
Q: Who were your parents?
A: My parents were Estelle Jones and Jack Wilson.
Q: What did your parents do for a living?
A: My father was a farmer and my mother worked in a lunchroom and also in a packing house.
Q: Do you have any brothers or sisters?
A: I have four brothers: James, Charles, Norman and Danny Wilson.
Q: Where did you attend school?
A: I attended school in McCullough.
Q: Do you do a lot of traveling?
A: Yes, I have done quite a bit. I have been out west several times. I have also visited Mexico and Canada.
Q: Where did you work?
A: I worked at the Farmer’s Exchange Bank and also at the Frank Currie Gin Co. for 30 years.
Q: Where have you lived?
A: I have lived in Atmore most of my life, but also in McCullough and Montgomery.
Q: Did you ever marry?
A: Yes, I was married twice.
Q: What was your spouse’s name?
A: I was married to Robert Morgan for 41 years and Marcus Dubose for 3 years and 10 months.
Q: Do you have children?
A: I have two children, Debbie Smith and David Morgan.
Q: Do you have grandchildren?
A: I have four grandchildren. Two boys and two girls. I also have two great grandchildren and another on the way.
Q: What keeps you busy these days?
A: I enjoy doing crafts, reading and doing puzzles.
Q: What is your favorite TV show?
A: I enjoy watching “Jeopardy,” “Wheel of Fortune” and “Grand Ole Opry.”
Q: Where do you attend church?
A: I am a member of Brooks Memorial Baptist Church.
Q: What is your favorite food?
A: I like anything sweet. I also like pizza from Pizza Hut.
Q: What advice would you like to give people on staying healthy?
A: Live a clean life and eat right.
