Summer vacation is slowly winding down and kids all over will be returning to school and teachers will be curious as to what their student have been doing the last three months.
YMCA day camper Andrew Varner said he has been enjoying his summer and also his time at the YMCA.
Along with swimming and playing games at the YMCA, Varner said he enjoys playing video games on his Playstation 2.
He added his favorite game is the Lego video game.
Varner is not the only kid enjoying his summer and time at the YMCA.
Kendall Murphy said she is enjoying attending the YMCA day camp and being at home for the summer break where she can play all day.
She added that one game in particular is her favorite.
Varner’s summer out of school has been extra special for him because he was able to go on a vacation.
He said that he visited the beach this summer and had a great time.
Both Varner and Murphy gave reasons why they enjoy the summer season so much.
Varner said he enjoys not having school or homework for a few months.
Murphy said her favorite part of summer vacation is just being out of school and having the opportunity to stay home.
