HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif. – Mr. Charles Edward Grant Jr., 36, of Huntington Beach, Calif. passed away suddenly Sept. 3, 2008 in Los Angeles, Calif.
He was a native of Davenport, (Scott Co.) Ind. and had lived in California for many years. He was a graduate of Central High School in Davenport and had served in the US Marines. He was a self employed and owned dry cleaners and had been a realtor.
His father, Charles E. Grant Sr.; his grandmother, Sarah Ankum and his grandfathers, Sam Grant and Edgar Ankum, preceded him in death.
He leaves to cherish his precious memories, his mother, Sarah Ankum Grant of Atmore; one sister, Chantelle E. Grant of Atlanta, Ga. and his grandmother, Amelia Brooks of Atmore.
Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 13, 2008 at the Liberty Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. David Clinton officiating and the Rev. Lucius Fair, Pastor.
Turner Funeral Chapel, LLC. of Atmore will be directing.
