ATMORE - Mr. Sam Grant Jr., 59, of Atmore died Sept. 12, 2008 in Atmore.
His father, Sam Grant Sr.; his brothers, Charles E. Grant Sr., Jerry Grant and his nephew Charles Grant Jr., preceded him in death.
He leaves to cherish his precious memories, his wife, Thelma Grant of Atmore; one daughter, Latasha M. Grant of Lumberton, N.J.; one son, Bernard Grant of Mt. Laurel, N.J.; two sisters, Carolyn Brooks-Carpenter of Detroit, Mich. and Donnell Brooks of Atmore; two brothers, Jeffery Brooks of Atmore and Nathaniel George of Dayton, Ohio; three grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. today, Sept. 17, 2008 at the Gaines Chapel AME Church with the Rev. Joseph Williams, officiating. Internment will follow in the Stallworth cemetery.
Turner Funeral Chapel, LLC. of Atmore will be directing the services.
