PHILLIPSVILLE - Ms. Annie Wiggins Flowers, 86, of Phillipsville died on Sept. 21, 2008.
Born in Stapleton on July 28, 1922 to Lavander and Lillie Wiggins, Ms. Stapleton’s husband, Ovis G. Flowers; two sisters; two brothers and three grandchildren, preceded her in death.
Ms. Flowers was a homemaker and lived in Phillipsville for 62 years.
Survivors include, one son, Richard Leonard (Janice) Allman; one brother, Dick (Irene) Wiggins; one sister, Hazel Renau and many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 23, 2008 with Bro. Wendell Hadley officiating. Burial followed at HallFork Cemetery in Phillipsville.
Pallbearers were her grandsons.
A visitation was held from 2 p.m. until the 3 p.m. service time at the funeral home.
Atmore Memorial Chapel Funeral Home was in charge of all arrangements.
