Rumors are swirling as the vandalism that occurred at Escambia Academy is still under investigation.
Many members of the community and school systems have expressed disapproval with the events including Escambia County Board of Education Superintendent Billy Hines.
Escambia County High School principal Harvey Means said he would give a comment pending further information.
Vandals spray painted and rolled Escambia Academy early Monday morning. Profanities, racial slurs, vulgar drawings and pitchforks littered all buildings on campus.
Principal Betty Warren was the first to arrive at the school and see the damage.
