The Blue Devils of Escambia County are looking to extend their winning streak to two games this week after defeating the Baldwin County Tigers last week.
This week, ECHS (1-4, 0-3) travels to Mobile to take on region foe LeFlore High School at Ladd-Peebles Stadium on Saturday night.
The Rattlers (0-5, 0-3) like the Blue Devils have struggled this season and are looking for their first region win of the season as well.
Head coach Kyle Davis said LeFlore is a good team with strong coaching. He added that they bring something to the field that not many other teams have matched the Blue Devils with.
Last week, the Blue Devil offense roared to life and put up its highest point total of the season.
Davis said the key to winning the offensive battle is for the offense to execute as well as they did against Baldwin County.
He added this is about the time last year that the Blue Devils came to life and started scoring higher point totals.
The Blue Devils play Saturday night at Ladd-Peebles Stadium with kickoff at 7 p.m.
