Audrey “Short” Campbell

CENTURY, Fla. - Mr. Audrey “Short” Campbell, 84, died Oct. 5, 2008 at a Pensacola hospital.
Mr. Campbell was a native of Jay, Fla., a former resident of Pensacola, Fla. and a resident of Century, Fla. for the past 40 years. He was a United States Army Veteran and owner and operator of Campbell Plumbing and Electric. He was the last survivor of 13 children.
His wife, Helen Louise Campbell; a daughter, Sharon Louise Campbell and a son, Terry Wayne Campbell, preceded him in death.
Survivors include, a son, Marvin Darrell Campbell (Teresa) of Jay, Fla.; a daughter, Gloria Jean Campbell Manna (Cpt. Joseph F. SC, USN); six grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 9, 2008 at the Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. Charles Rice officiating. Burial will follow at McCurdy Cemetery with military honors.
Visitation will be held from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. on Oct. 8, 2008 at the Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be, Jimmy Cash, Anthony Cash, Kenny Hammac, Brian Carty, William Odom and Allen Stacey. Honorary pallbearers will be, Billy Odom, Roy Odom, Barney Cash, Doug Odom and Michael Campbell.
