The Northview Chiefs are looking to build off their victory over district opponent Holmes County on Sept. 26.
The Chiefs (2-2, 1-0) hope to return to Bratt Friday night with a victory over the Baker Gators.
A win would make the Chiefs 2-0 in district play.
Head coach Cody Keene said the Gators have a good football program with talented athletes.
Coming off a bye week, Northview hopes to bring the same intensity they proved to have against Holmes County.
Keene said the offense and defense both worked on correcting mistakes and running plays to near perfection.
Overall, the Chiefs look healthy coming into their district game with Baker.
Four games into the season only one player has been lost completely, while one could possibly be back for the end of the season. The rest of the injuries for the Chiefs are minor, with each injury being treated accordingly.
Keene said players have been healing up over the week and only one player has been for sure lost for the season.
He added that each players injury is taken seriously and never overlooked even if it seems minor.
Kickoff is at 7 p.m.
