Escambia County High School welcomed back alumni from several decades Friday morning for the Student Government Association’s annual Homecoming Alumni Tea.
The tea offered alumni the opportunity to come and visit ECHS, while meeting with old classmates as well as other former students, faculty and staff.
SGA president Tray Smith said the tea was a success and drew a large amount of alumni.
Several classes were represented at the alumni tea and got to view the newly renovated ECHS.
SGA sponsor and ECHS teacher Andrea Chance said that this was one of the best teas in several years.
She added that every year ending in an eight was invited to the tea.
The tea was not the only thing that was presented to the alumni Friday.
During the event, they were able to walk around the school and see any changes that have been made since they graduated.
Smith said that the alumni were given a tour of the changes made to the school. He added that principal Harvey Means was in attendance.
