Flomaton Speedway is hosting an action packed show this weekend as they are putting on their first annual Fall Challenge brought to the fans by Butler U Pull It.
The show is featuring racing in five different classes including the late models, street stocks, bombers, stingers and hobby cars.
The winner of each class will not only receive a cash prize, but also double points towards their series and a four-foot trophy.
Speedway promoter NASCAR Ron said the show will be a good one featuring a lot of drivers trying to win some money.
The late model entry fee is $50, but the winner receives $1500. The street stock entry fee is also $50 and the first place car receives $1500. The bomber class entry fee is $50 and the cash prize for the winner is $1000. The stingers entrance fee is $25 and the winner will receive $300. The hobby cars have to pay $25 to enter the race and receive $750 for a win.
NASCAR Ron said with all that money at stake, it’s not surprising that so many racers have signed up for the event. He added that the fans will be impressed by the action on the track.
There will also be a fireworks show and a monster truck on hand for the show.
NASCAR Ron said that the monster truck is being brought there courtesy of the main sponsor, who will also be giving away prizes. He added that the fireworks show should give the fans something else to look forward to.
The entrance fee to Saturday night’s action is $8 for adult admission to the grandstand, with a pit pass being $25. Friday night there will be an open practice with free grandstand admission and a $10 pit pass available.
