ATMORE - Martha Mae Black Lee, 83, of Atmore died Monday, Oct. 27, 2008 in Atmore.
Mrs. Lee was a homemaker born in Canoe on June 5, 1925 to the late Henry Allen and Inez Stanton Black.
Her husband, James H. Lee, preceded her in death.
Survivors include, one son, James A. “Jimmy” Lee and wife, Cecelia of Atmore; two daughters, Janice Lee Payne and husband, Bill of Hueytown and Dianne Lee Curlee and husband, Sam of Pell City; five grandchildren, Eric Jones and wife, Christina, Heather R. Coleman and husband, Brad, Tabatha J. Turnbough, Hank Lee and wife, Lacey and Anna L. Beyer and husband, Nick; 11 great grandchildren and two sisters-in-law, Johnnie M. Lee and Mary L. Gibbs, both of Atmore.
Services were held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 30, 2008 at Canoe United Methodist Church. Interment followed in the church cemetery.
Family received friends from 6 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Wednesday evening, Oct. 29, 2008 at Atmore Memorial Chapel.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Methodist Children’s Home.
Atmore Memorial Chapel Funeral Home was in charge of all arrangements.
