ATMORE - Mrs. Annie R. Dailey, 50, of Atmore died Tuesday, Nov. 4, 2008.
She was a native of Monroe County and a longtime resident of Atmore. She was a graduate of Escambia County High School in 1978. She had worked at Standard Furniture as an assembly liner.
Her parents, James and Mary Mitchell Sr.; four brothers, John Hollinger, Joseph Mitchell, Donald Mitchell and Carl Hollinger and one sister, Mary Catherine Mitchell preceded her in death.
She leaves to cherish her precious memories, her husband, Otis P. Dailey of Atmore; three daughters, LaKenda Mitchell, Ieesha Hazley and Shunna Hazley, all of Atmore; four sisters, Linda F. Crook and Debra (Abe) Bishop, Mary Alice Mitchell and Barbara Mitchell, all of Atmore; five brothers, J.C. (Dorothy) Mitchell, Ben Mitchell and David Mitchell, all of Atmore, Lloyd Mitchell of Monroeville and Robert (Evelyn) Mitchell of Brewton; five grandchildren and her step-mother, Annie Pear Mitchell of Atmore.
Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 8, 2008 at the Gaines AME Church in Atmore with the Rev. Albert Hazley officiating and the Rev. Joseph Williams, pastor. Interment was held in the Fairview Cemetery in Atmore with Turner Funeral Chapel, LLC. of Atmore directing.
