ATMORE - Mrs. Mattie Lou (Pat) Atchison, 74, passed away Friday, Nov. 21, 2008 at her home.
Mrs. Atchison was a native of Repton, former resident of Pensacola, Fla. and a resident of Atmore for the past 25 years. She was a housemother at St. Mary’s of Mobile.
Her husband, David Atchison, preceded her in death.
Survivors include, a son, Zell T. Armstrong (Ann) of Pensacola, Fla.; two daughters, Cynthia Elaine Boyd of Gulf Shores and Mona Cay Glenn of Perdido; four grandchildren, Brian Armstrong, Kelly Lambeth, Danny Glenn Jr. and Christine Michelle Armstrong and seven great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 24, 2008 at the Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home with Sister Helen Stewart officiating. Burial followed in Oak Hill Cemetery.
Visitation was held from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 23, 2008 at the Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home.
Pallbearers were Bobby Williams, Jeffrey Parker, Brian Turberville, Derrek McLain, Patrick Hicks and Keith Hadley.
