Longtime Atmore doctor Harry Moore, M.D. will be leaving town at the close of the year.
Moore, who has practiced medicine in Atmore since 1982, recently accepted the position of medical director at The Clinic at The Premier Center in Austin, Texas.
"I was floored when I received the call from Bob Marshall inviting me to join him at The Premier Center," Moore said.
Moore will begin seeing patients at his new location Jan. 12, 2009.
Moore currently runs Moore Clinic for Wholeness in Health, a Center for Advanced Medicine clinic. He previously served as CEO of Physician's Associates.
Moore Clinic will continue seeing patients until noon on Dec. 31 when it will then close.
