A Riverview man faces a return to prison after being arrested on drug charges.
Patrick Lamar “Bo” Miller, 37, was arrested after agents with the 21st Judicial Circuit Drug Task Force executed a search warrant at his residence and business on River Circle Road in the Riverview community.
The business, known as Bite Me Bait and Tackle and residence are both shown with a 99 River Circle Rd.
Miller is charged with two counts of unlawful distribution of a controlled substance.
Escambia County Sheriff Grover Smith said residents of the Riverview community had expressed concern about the activity of Miller.
Smith said three automobiles, a small amount of cash and some property in the Riverview area were seized as a result of the search warrant and subsequent arrest.
Miller is currently on probation with the State of Alabama for his prior charges of second-degree rape and second-degree sodomy.
Miller remained in the Escambia County Detention Center on a $10,000 bond as of press time Tuesday.
The 21st Judicial Circuit Drug Task Force is comprised of law enforcement agents and representatives from the Atmore Police Department, Brewton Police Department, East Brewton Police Department, Escambia County Commission, Escambia County District Attorney’s Office, Escambia County Sheriff’s Department, Flomaton Police Department and the Poarch police Department.
The DTF receives 25 percent of is funding from a grant funded by the Bureau of Justice Affairs Division of the United States Department of Justice which is administered by the Alabama Department of Economic and Community Affairs. The remained of funding for the department is provided by the Atmore Police Department, Brewton Police Department, Escambia County District Attorney’s Office, Escambia County Sheriff’s Department and Poarch Police Department.
