Clifton Eugene “Gene” Buckhault

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Mr. Clifton Eugene “Gene” Buckhault, 59, passed away Saturday, Nov. 29, 2008 in Pensacola.
Mr. Buckhault was a native of Atmore, a lifelong resident of Little Rock, Ark. and the best husband, father and grandfather to his family. He was an employee of Scott Paper Company for 30 years, owned and operated G.B. Trucking Company and attended the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Sherry Buckhault of Little Rock, Ark.; two sons, Johnnie Eugene and Shanna Buckhault and Clifton DeWayne Buckhault, both of Little Rock, Ark.; two daughters, Veronica and Guy Spoon of Little Rock, Ark. and Jo Le An and Al Roberts of Neely, Miss., eight grandchildren; a brother; Billy Ray and Cheryl Buckhault of Eleasnor; a sister, Jerald Dean and Hubert Reed of Bay Minette.
Funeral Services were held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 2, 2008 at the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. Charles McGee officiating. Burial followed at Miller Cemetery.
Visitation was held Monday, Dec. 1, 2008 from 6 p.m. until funeral time at the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.
Pallbearers were Malcolm Buckhault, Gary Buckhault, James “BoBo” English, Mike Johnson, Mark Peacock and Tom Swift. Honorary pallbearers were Earl Jeter and Joe Matthews.
