CHERAW, S.C. – Catherine O’Neall Kurtnacker, 62, also known as “Ms. P.J.” and “Ms. Cathy,” was taken home on Dec. 13, 2008.
Mrs. Kurtnacker was born June 2, 1946, was a longtime resident of Atmore, resided in Cheraw, S.C. and was the former owner of P.J.’s Cleaners. God puts angels on this earth to bless those who they come in contact with ,and she was one of them.
Her grandmother, Ruth Rice; mother, Norma Jean Brookins and father, William Sheridan O’Neall, preceded her in death.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, James A. “Jim” Kurtnacker Jr.; son, James A. Kurtnacker III and wife, Lindsey; daughter, Mary Lutzen and husband, Shawn; grandson, Landan A. Lutzen; sister, Nancy Brigkman and husband, L.W.; trusted companion, Sassy T. Dog; trusted former employees, Paula Whatley, Fannie Mae Brown, Louise Johnson, Kevin Wiggins, Marrgie Ball, Janet Gibson and Charles, all others who came through those doors and many beloved friends.
Mrs. Kurtnacker was laid to rest in Wallace, S.C. on Dec. 15, 2008.
