At approximately 7:45 p.m. last night, Atmore resident Miles Brewster Cunningham, 25, was killed in a single vehicle accident on Old Atmore Road three miles east of Hwy. 31. Cunningham was driving a 2007 GMC pickup truck when authorities said it overturned and Cunningham was ejected from the vehicle. Authorities said he was not wearing his seatbelt.
