A Dodge Durango flipped into a ditch on Hwy. 31 just south of Nichols Ave. at approximately 9:10 a.m Friday morning.
The Durango being driven by an unidentified woman was headed south on Hwy. 31 when she hit a road work sign, according to an eye-witness.
Baldwin County native Dean Lindberg said he was heading out of Atmore when he saw the accident happen.
The driver did not suffer any life-threatening injuries.
Kelley’s Ambulance, the Atmore Fire Department and Escambia County Sheriff’s responded to the accident.
